Work groups

Working with public administration on defining how and under what rules cloud computing services can be used and proposing measures for creating a free market for shared ICT services without distortion from illegal public government support.

The working group was established as a response to the unfulfilled resolution of the Chamber of Deputies during the Act No. 261/2021 Coll., the government bill on the computerization of public administration, the so-called DEPO, which was adopted on the 5th of March 2021. 

The working group's scope of work is to deal with electronic delivery of labor law documents and legislative solutions for home office in connection with the unadopted proposal of KDU-CSL from the last election period

The main task of the group is to prepare ICTU's position on the amendment of the eIDAS regulation, including new aspects resulting from it, and to assess the possibility of their implementation, especially with regard to the current state and readiness of the corresponding services and the necessary infrastructure at the national level. These are mainly the following areas:

The key focus and objective of the working group is to support the implementation and in particular the development of ongoing Digital Terrain Model (DTM), Building Information Modeling (BIM) and Digitization of Construction Management (DSŘ) projects in the 2021-2027 period, especially for projects with an overlap into the field of Geoinformatics. The working group will focus on the following areas:

The main task of the Cyber Security Working Group is to provide detailed analyses of the impact of the amendment to Act No. 181/2014 Coll. on Cyber Security in relation to the amendments to Act No. 289/2005 Coll. on Military Intelligence. Detailed impact analyses of each proposed amendment and ICTU position papers on these proposals are being prepared by experts involved in the working group.

At the same time, in consultation with the ICTU President, the working groups also participate in public debates on the issue and educate relevant target audiences on the recommendations contained in the ICTU position papers.

The working group was established in July 2022 in response to several developments in records management.

The first of these is a draft decree amending Decree No 259/2012 Coll., on the details of the Performance of the Records Management, as amended.

The second important activity is the participation in the development of the Draft of National Standard for Electronic Records Managements (NSERM), in which the working group is involved through its comments.

The third activity is to contribute to the development of the annexes to the NSERM. A smaller working group has been set up exclusively for this purpose.

A fourth important activity is the compliance assessment of electronic records management systems.

The working group has also set itself the goal of participating in the drafting of an amendment to Act No. 499/2004 Coll. on Archiving and Records Management. A draft document entitled "Theses of the new Act on Archiving" has been prepared, and we are ready to actively participate in this amendment together with the Ministry of the Interior, which has tentatively announced a major change in the legislation by 2026.
